It’s hard! That’s why few people have been able to do it! It’s not because it’s unlikely or nearly impossible! No. It’s because it’s hard and everyone is lazy. I’m lazy! You’re lazy! You disagree? You’re not hardworking! You may have the discipline to ignore your desire to stay in your comfort zone but that doesn’t change the fact that naturally you are very lazy. You don’t have me fooled. And if you are lazy and undisciplined it’s alright, there is nothing wrong with you, but your choices do have consequences.

Scientist performed a simple study where they placed kids alone in an empty room and explained to them that if they could wait ten minutes to eat the marshmallow on the table they would receive two. They followed up with the kids for the next couple of decades and unsurprisingly a higher percentage of the kids who could wait ten minutes went on to do hard but rewarding things in life.

Can you wait 10 minutes to eat your marshmallow? If not, fine, but don’t complain because you didn’t get two like the other kid who could.
