Don’t let your imagination be crushed by life as a whole. Don’t try to picture everything bad that could possibly happen. Stick with the situation at hand.
Marcus Aurelius
Unlearn. Unlearn. Unlearn. Become the person you were as a child, the infinitely creative imagination you had was boundless and the essence of genius. Your untroubled child mind without a care in the world, free from the problems the world taught you were problems in the first place. What happens to us? Where did it go wrong? As a kid, I didn’t care about having much money or obtaining status. I wasn’t embarrassed when I was loud and rambunctious in public. I didn’t care what other people thought of me. I was content with very little. What has changed? Why was I once able to live like this? Why didn’t I care? These are all questions we should be asking ourselves. Reflect on your memories as a child. What are some things you used to do that could improve your life? What are some dreams you had before everyone told you they were impossible or unrealistic? There are no limitations in life except the ones we put on ourselves.
